| Hey guys....I have an MDX with the tech/entertainment package and was wondering something. When you play DVDs in the back and listen through the headphones, is there a way to turn the front sound off. When there is a dvd in the back, i guess the unit in the front must be turned on, but I don't want to listen to anything. I thought the point of the rear entertainment system with headphones was so that the people in the front could listen to something else OR not listen to anything at all. Am i doing something wrong? Thanks for your help! |

| yes you are doing some wrong command. I picked up my elderly parents. We put in "What ever happened to babie Jane Hudson", watch it and played it thru the entire sound system. Folks besides me must have thought I was nuts while I laughed hysterically! The moral of this story is you are not doing something correct as you can play sound for everyone or just to the headsets.....someone will chime in.... |

| I just select AUX for the Front Source while the kids are watching their Spongebob for the thousands time, so I can have a moment of quietness.:o |

Good point. The wireless headphones have their own volume control. |

| I have not been ABLE to play a DVD both on-screen and through the general speaker system. It sounds like from this discussion that I should be able to do that. Which setting am I missing? |

Try this thread. It may simply be a fuse. Otherwise, take it in. |
