| In my MDX/Tech, I find that in daylight the display that shows the time, radio channels, AC settings, etc., appears relatively dim and of low contrast. I could not find any adjustments to change the brightness. Anyone else notice this? |

| Hi, have you tried turning off the headlight by turning the knob away from "Auto" or "on" during your daytime driving? May that fix your problem? |

If the 2007 is like my 2004 there is a rheostat/switch on the dash that adjusts the brightness of the display. BE VERY CAREFUL NOT TO TURN THIS SWITCH UNTIL IT CLICKS. If you go past the click it overrides all else and will cause your overhead lights to STAY ON.
Two nights ago my across the street neighbor called to tell me that the lights were on in my car. I could not find how to turn them off so just pulled the fuze. Yesterday went be the dealer and once we got two people looking they figured out what had happend.
I was lucky the lights had only been on 3 hours.

The '07's have a brightness control button on the right side of the steering wheel in the faux wood section.
When you make adjustments you will see the current setting in the MID (display between the tach and speedo). |

There's also a remote key setting how to adjust brightness/lights according to light sensor (off, min, medium, max).
Not sure if 'off' will make it brighter. I didn't have any problems with readability but it's not summer yet here:-). |

| For me, the +/- brightness control buttons only affect the speedo/tach cluster brightness. The sensitivity setting only relates to the headlight switch point when on "auto". I control my lights manually and they are "off" in the daytime. I guess that I will check with the dealer when I get my first oil change. |
