| Got a bit of a fender bender this morning. The corner/side area of my bumper has a 6"-8" crack right in the middle. Can this be repaired or will they or will I need a new bumper? Given the size of the crack I would hope they could repair it. |

A crack typically would require replacement of the bumper unless it is very minor. (mostly because the material is so flexible that filler will not hold well.)
Gouges, however, can typically be repaired without replacement. |

| Get a new, repairing the bumper will be cheaper but the paint eventually will crack several times. In a long run you'll save money buying a new one. |
