my 2006 acura mdx has 1600 miles. by mistake i put in the 89 rating instead of 93 rating, and i have the "check engine light " on. Yet to take it to autozone,
is the acura mdx so sensitive !!!
Damn, now i have to garage the car with the dealer for a couple of days. never expected a problem so soon.. |

:welcome: Plenty of folks use 89 octane without issue so I doubt that is the problem. Must be something else :8: |

| I pump 87 a lot and I don't have any problems so far. |

| Check your gas cap. Tighten it until it clicks more than 3 times, then drive around for a while. Maybe that will make the CEL go away. |
