I have a 2002 MDX and a few days ago the instrument panel lights went out. A day later I noticed that the tail lights and back up lights were out too, and the lights dont flash when the alarm is set. Hazards and brake lights work just fine. I checked my fuses, none are blown from what I can see and I havent installed any after market accessories.
I've seen posts from alot of people that have this same problem on their MDX or Pilots, but no one has come back to say what the problem was. Any ideas? Im scheduled to take my car in tomorrow but I dont want to get stuck having alot of unnessary and expensive tests done if I can go in knowing what the problem is. I cant drive at night anymore and its driving me crazy!
Thanks alot |

| First, Welcome to the forum. My experience has been caused by a fuse being out. In past vehicles, the instruments and tail lights are on the same circuit. Check that out if you haven't already done so. Good Luck |

| If fuse #10 in the passenger side fuse box is OK, then check the taillight relay. That's not so easy to get to. It's sort of above the driver's fuse box |
