When I pair my bluetooth phone (it's a samsung razor-type), and I'm driving, my phone will start placing calls without any voice commands from me! I have not even pressed the voice recognition button. When I look at my phone, it's paging through addresses, even though I have not touched it.
Any ideas?
Thanks

You just convinced me not to spend any money on a Bluetooth-compatible cellphone just for the sake of MAYBE using hands free once every blue moon...
Thanks |

Did you set up AcuraLink to get messages? If so, you also accepted that your MDX would call Acura to transfer data on your car.
THis may be the calls that you're seeing: your car is ratting on you, and telling AcuraLink that your oil life is at 70%, and you've been speeding. |

That would be scary! But no, it's definitely bluetooth, because my phone is reacting as though I'm giving it voice commands, I can tell when I look at the phone.
My oil life is still 100%, as for the speeding, well.....it sure didn't feel like I was :D |

That's what AcuraLink looks like. It uses Bluetooth to secretly tell your phone to call Acuralink and make its report. I am not making this up.
That's why I have rejected Acuralink. |
