| Glad to find the site. Purchased a new Nimbus Gray w/ Sport. Feels like a Cayenne for 1/2 price, yet has the utility of a Swiss-Army knife! At any rate, communting in from D.C. exurbs with a bit of stop and go I am averaging 19.7 MPG. It can be done folks. This is better than many larger mid-size AWD sedans. |

Mine is just broken in, I also do stop and go, sporty stop and go that is... I do less than 19 mpg but I enjoy the acceleration!!!
going from 30mph to 50mph in 1 second is hard on gas but worth every penny flowing down the tail pipe...:) |

Is that computer displayed mileage or real calculated mileage?

Wow, that is great gas mileage. My first 500 miles came out at 14.7 miles per gallon. Not what I was expecting. Here's the facts on my MPG:
1) 93 Octane Gas used the whole time
2) A/C used on medium sometimes
3) mostly street driving, not highway
4) Heavy acceleration at times (got to test it out!)
5) Some time spent idling while getting used to car features and testing things out.
6) MPG calculated by in dash computer
I am sure it will improve for the next 500 miles. The excitement of 300 horses and new car syndrome will give way to more conservative driving practices. Plus break in.
Do you think I can improve 5 MPG though? |

There is a huge difference in mpg between highway and street driving. On average I got about 18.7 that's about 65% highway and 35% street. The most I managed to got was 25.8mpg during a 4 hour drive to Las Vegas cruising at 73-75 mph. I'v noticed that between 65-75 mph, the mpg remain pretty much the same, but if you drive more than 75mph, the mpg reduced noticeably.:D |

| I just use the trip computer. I travel off-peak into and out of DC and have little stop and go. |

| I got 16.8 MPG in my 2001 Toyota Sequoia with a V8 doing the same type of driving I have been doing. (except for the acceleration). All I am trying to do is beat that. The next 500 miles is the real test for me. |
