Many thanks to the folks here who helped me out w/alot of fun and useful info.

I saved a ton of money based on the posts/advice here

Still having just signed a rather $$ contract i wake up in the night thinking OMG i did what....

but next week it will be ready for pickup can't wait

ordered a black/black sport /ent the molding (how can they not include it?) tire warantee thing/ ,cargo cover thingey.

it was a tough decesion the rdx was very nice alot complaigned about engine/turbo noise but i didn't notice and it seemed peepy handled great very carish

the mdx obviously seemed more suv-ish but overall luxiourious , so i'll have to get used to that i just can't fit big boxes into the car :)

think i just need a nice set of front/rear crash bumpers/bush guards can't seem to find any for the 07

and if it dosn't come w/a special factory alarm chip thing i'd prob consider a nice alarm/remote w/start any thoughts?

thanks again all

Congratulations and welcome to the family!

Glad to hear that this forum helped you decide on the MDX, and save some serious cash as well.
I had to wait a week for my X and, boy, was that a long week! But it will pass quickly and you’ll love the car! Enjoy!

It does come with an alarm. It sets whenever you lock the doors. Blows horn, flashes lights for two minutes.
Regarding the brush guards- think about that for a minute. They don't protect the corners, which is what gets hit if you're parking on the streets. The new set up with the gray plastic front and rear is pretty parking-garage friendly. They're easy, and pretty cheap, to replace. You could buy two or three of them for the cost of a brush guard.
Half the reason I have a hitch is to use a hitch step/ extra rear bumper. My garage guys love to park by sound.

thanks guys!

regarding the need for the bumper guards, i agree w/you but i'd rather have'm than not mostly for the very reason you mentioned people that park by feel/or sound maybe it saves me if they think it will damage their car -- evil grin
