CD resume in Tech audio system? - Click HERE for Original Thread

I just got a Tech package MDX last week. I've noticed that after turning the car off and on again, the CD player goes back to track 1. I couldn't find anything in the owners manual about having the CD player resume where it last stopped.

Am I missing something here? My CD player from an 8 year old car knows how to resume!

I think mine resumes. Do you have the key fob "linked"? Does the MID say "Welcome Driver 1" when you get in, or just "Welcome"?
If it's not linked, push and hold both buttons on the fob until you see the tiny LED between the buttons blink ONCE. If it blinks TWICE, you have just de-linked the fob. Push and hold it agin until it blinks once.
A lot of settings, like volume and last channel, depend on the linking of the fobs. I'm guessing that the CD track resume may be one of them.

Thanks that was it. After I linked the keyfobs my CDs now resume. Now if I can only keep my CD from ejecting when I open the door!

What ever the problem is it should never have gotten out of testing.
