Hello all,
Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this, but when driving on the highway at speeds over 65mph I notice that my hood is bouncing. Almost like the air is going underneath it making it fludder up and down. Im just hoping one of these days the hood doesn't come off. Please let me know if anyone else has experienced this. Thanks |

Go back to the dealer, and take them for a ride. That's not supposed to happen.
Some people (not me of course) have had the 07 past 95 without fluttering. |

Is there any loosness in the latch? If you pull up on the front of the hood while parked, is there any give? If not, then the latch is OK. I don't have the MDX here to look at, but there are usually adjustable rubber stops on the sides that the hood compresses when closed. Try adjusting those upward to provide more contact/compression and see if it helps. |

| YES! I also have noticed this, as has my buddies - no my grief...the deal is that the hood is very light. My 04 MDX i could just drop down when opened to close it and the weight would do it's thing. This 07 is MUCH lighter. At above 75MPH, it looks scary...right in the middle of the hood on the edges...popping up a good half inch or more...at 85, even more....so took it in this week for the 14k B16 service and mentioned it. Their response: "Adjusted hood latch. Elongate slots to compensate. Align hood and rubber hood bumpers. Note: some movement in hood is normal". |

Where did you get this TSB? Is there a link somewhere on this forum that has all the TSB's for the 2007 MDX?
Thanks. |

| No problem hood jumping on my MDX. The hood has a nice slope to it versus my Armada. |

Actually, there is a TSB on the pulling, and you already commented on it on this thread. I haven't seen anything about the whistling, though, so I'm curious about it. |
