We just put down $1000 down on a 2007 MDX w/ the tech/ent/!!! Very excited this is my first ever "Brand New Car"!!!
This is my Mid-life crisis SUV!
We Picked the Silver Billet/taupe combo, which surprised us because we were planning on either Black or the Nimbus Gray, until we saw it at the Dealer's, Acura of Bellevue, WA.
It was on the dealer's invoice scheduled to start production 4/09/07
We don't even have a VIN# yet kinda scary. They only had one + a Demo on their lot...I guess they are flying! Not good news for a buyer!
This is a beautiful thing I am so excited we are to pick up the weekend of 4/28!
Here is our run down...
MDX tech/ent. $44,545.00
The roof rails and cross bars $687.40
Side moulding $367.90
Sport Running boards $889.00
Tried to get them to throw in the all season mats (twice) and they would'nt. We used our Costco card (Auto program pricing) to try to get the best deal not sure if we did, but with such a demand fro them I guess it was the best we could do! We did feel like they gave us a fair trade for our 1997 Ford Expedition with 120k.
They had said the MDX had been taken off the Costco program earlier and was put back on but it will be off agin soon.
We thought about installing the options ourselves, my husband has some experience, but he is never home travels often and his time is very valuable when he is home.
Did we get totally "taken"??
It is going to be a long 3 weeks but this forum that I just fond will help!
I have learned so much already! |

| Congratulations! That's great. You made a good decision. I can't speak about your car price, (I bought the sport), but your accessories are a little less than what I paid in the DC area. You're going to love it! |

Congratulations! You will enjoy the MDX.
Regarding your deal, I don't remember the price for the Tech/Ent...for comparison we paid $2600 below MSRP for our Sport. |

| They had the MSRP as 46,365.00 including the $670 destination charge. So all in all we "saved" $1820.00. |

There are mid-life crisis motorcycles, and there are mid-life crisis Corvettes and 911's.
However, the term mid-life crisis SUV may be an oxymoron.
Boy, are you going to enjoy this vehicle. Get some DTS discs to fill up the CD changer. |

:welcome:
Congrats and welcome to the family!
Hear that folks: The MDX has a new tag line ... “the mid-life crisis SUV!” Though recent MDX owners may have gotten better deals, what really matters is that you're satisfied with your purchase. Three weeks may seem like a long time to wait for your first ever brand new car, but it will pass and you’ll have years of sheer driving enjoyment. You’ll love it! |

Hey hey... don't poke fun I am 41 and still have 3 kids to haul around so for now this is my "mid life crisis SUV" It is the best I can do until they are all driving on their own, then I won't be able to afford a new car of any kind!
I am just tickled to get into something more sporty/lux than my current ride a 1997 FORD Expedition, another kid hauler!
Play nice...lol |
