HI all
me and my wife are in the market for an SUV as we have a baby on the way in August,.
Our top choice is the 07 MDX but obviously we want it at best price so we're trying to see what everyone's experiences have been so far with haggling and to see how low the dealers in Canada (ontario) have gone.
Im just looking for the base model
right now, the lowest i've gotten after about a week of shopping around different dealers is 520 taxes in on a 15k downpaymet for a 48 month lease.
what bothers me is that during my corssshoping been able to get pricing that is significantly less on other comparable vehicles.
for example the lexus rx330 can be had for 495/month with similar lease plan, while an 06 BMW x5 (67k km though) for 475 with all taxes in
the kicker i think is that a mercedes ML350 07 model can be had for 550/month even though it is listed as 6000 more on a base price!!!
I do prefer the MDX and i realize that its a fantastic vehicle, so i really do want to have it as my vehicle. However i cannot afford to go over 500 a month (all taxes in) with 15k down
Is this reasonable to expect from dealers?? or will i be entering the Wild Goose Chase sweepstakes...
