Hi,
I picked up my X in Jan 07. I had the car for just a few days when I started to hear an annoying resonating vibration noise coming from the right-front wheel well area. The noise was especially noticeable when driving over rough surfaces and bumps. It was driving me crazy!
So it took it into the dealer and was basically told I was crazy. They were unable to duplicate the noise and mentioned that it was most likely due to the contents of my glovebox and loose change in the change cup. I know what that stuff sounds like and I know that wasn't the issue.
About a month later I took the car in to another dealership and was told that my problem is a known issue and they're aware of how to fix it. Although, my 07 MDX was the first they fixed for this problem. So I had to leave the car there for a few days. I picked up the car today and all is well. They replaced the "front spring".
The dealer told me there was a technical service bulletin on this but I couldn't find anything. Just thought I'd share my experience....

| They replaced my entire strut...Right front was bad after 3 days of driving. I thought it was affecting my alignment, but it wasnt...still cannot align my MDX properly...still pulls to the right. |

| I have this LOUD groaning noise whenever I back up and am turning at the same time, like backing out of the driveway onto the street. After backing up I put it in drive and go to turn the wheel straight and it makes this loud groaning noise. Could this TSB fix that you think? |

I have the same problem and it only occurs when I first start moving in reverse then it goes away. Since I had the strut replaced, I'll be sure to listen for the noise. We'll see if the noise is still there...
