I just got my 02 MDX back from the dealer. Acura paid for 75% of about $4,000, and the new tranny has a 3/36 warranty.
I had the fluid change done at the Honda Dealer at around 50k miles, and no maintenance done at the Acura dealer. |

Did you read some of the threads on tranny replacements here? It seems Acura is footing 100% of the bill on these. At least that is what is implied with recent posts. Still, 75% is better than 0%. |

IIRC, full reimbursement comes with no warranty extension but there were cases where $1000 got you the 3/36 extension. |
