That's a great special Tim, I hope you sell a bunch.
Unfortunately, I'm personally into a clean simple exterior look. But I do have a birthday coming up in Oct. If the Navigation upgrade DVD is out by then is there any chance of a deal on that?
Also how's your sunshade supply? - I still want one of those.

I'm not sure how that works yet. I've never had to order one as the previous systems had reprogrammable hard drives. But I'll have a look into it.
Got plenty of sunshades, matter of fact they will be up for sale on the site this week. |

I'LL SEND YOU THE MONEY ORDER FOR FLARES TOMORROW.
THANKS, THE WAITING WAS KILLING ME. |

Thanks Tim,
I may want a sun shade. Will they will the MDX well? Are they the foldable type or the circular spring type. I don't want one of those spring types. They make me look foolish, sitting in my car trying to get that thing unsprung. lol. A description of the sun shade would be great.. |

Great Deals Tim, but...
I already have both of these items.
I'll be waiting to see what happens next month, although I do have my eye on a few smaller interior items. |

Great, Tim...
But I already had both. Any chance of full size spare touring rim in the near future?
Thanks. |

Per my earlier post in the "Rear Deflector new group buy ????" thread, I'm in for the Rear Tailgate Deflector special. If it can be done, I'd like my deflector painted in Taffeta White to match my eventual MDX.
I've been hot and cold on the fender flares -- I like the concept of something to absorb stray bumps, but I don't really like the glued-on look. Anyway, I'm currently cold on the flares, so I'll pass on them.

I posted a thread on this a while ago, in the gallery, and it shows the sunshade. It's not sprung, rather a roll-up type that fits the MDX perfectly. It's $35 shipped, and because of the quality, worth every penny in my opinion.
It's getting tougher and tougher to get specials going because all of the long-term members already have all of the stuff that they want on their MDXs already (thank God for newbies :D). The rims I simply can't sell any cheaper because I give free shipping. Next month I was thinking of ski racks to lead us into the season, or perhaps cargo liners, or CD changers since I have so many lying around here, but maybe I'll just put it up to a vote. Remember, if you don't see it on special and you REALLY want it, email me and we'll see if I can put together a group buy on it.
Remember folks, I can do these painted as well, in whatever color you wish. It takes about 2 days in the body shop, and everyone that I've sent painted goodies to can attest to the finish quality. |

| Tim you are the best in prices and of course service. I feel hard to resist these prices. I just hope my better half does not get the better of me by snatching my MDX. |

Just in case you'r counting, I think I might be interested in the Nav DVD. It will depend on $. I just feel that after paying 40K a month ago, the least Acura could do is give out free updates. Most any software you buy these days will include a free upgrade if a new version comes out w/in a 6 month or so period. |

Two questions:
Sorry for my ignorance, but,
1. Is the fender flare price painted, or how much extra is that, and,
2. If I am waiting on an 02, in a new color, is it possible to put a deposit down to lock in the price, and then hold up delivery until you get the 02 colors to paint it?
Thanks |

Hi Dave,
If you'd like them painted, add the appropriate amount to the parts price:
$125 for the tailgate deflector
$350 for the flares
$400 for both
If you like, PM me or email me and we'll work something out about the special. |

I asked my dealer about this when I picked mine up last week. He that they would not be able to do that. It's kind of irritating because I had asked for my delivery in October when my lease was up. I'm probably the only one here whining that I got mine too soon. :)
I'd be interested in the Nav DVD too depending on the improvements.
Is the tailgate deflector for looks only or does it serve a purpose? |

| The tailgate deflector seems to, based on some input from some members, help keep the rear window a bit cleaner from dust and dirt. Haven't verified that myself, though. |

Hi Tim,
I went to your site and couldn't find any sunshades for the MDX. Where would I find them and when will they be going on sale? Thanks for your help. |
|
|
| hondacuraworld |
| By Friday the sunshades should be up on the site. You can always call me or email me with your phone number if you'd rather order now. |
|

About the sunshades...
Roll up type, eh? Available in colors or just silver metallic? Sorry to hit you up for a description. |
|
|
| hondacuraworld |
No problem.....got a pic in the gallery of the sunshade. It only comes in silver.
C'mon now, where are all of the people that need flares and deflectors? Been quiet around here lately. |
|
|
| Rona |
| So TIm where are the deals on the sunshades? And do you know where I can find a wide angle rear view mirror that will clip onto the MDX mirror? Thanks. |
|
|
| hondacuraworld |
The sunshades aren't up on the website yet, which is my fault....I've become kind of the official parts guy on www.nsxsc.com, replacing Terry at Gunn Acura (they decided to refocus their efforts elsewhere), so the added NSX parts volume has precluded me from getting any website mods together. You can always call me if you wish, or email me with your phone number....I promise I'll take care of it by the end of the week.
As far as the mirror, the only one I can think of are those clip-on deals that JC Whitney used to carry that extend the whole length of the windshield. You might try them. |

Thanks so much Tim. I will look out for your post on the sunshades.

| Tim, just curious.... I know you have free shipping for your accessories, but how much does it cost you to ship OEM running boards to Atlanta, Georgia. Just ballpark. Thanks, Sunder. |
|
|
| hondacuraworld |
| That was easy to calculate since I have AtlantaMDX's address on file....and to his zip code the cost is $20.46.....much cheaper than I thought. But don't forget, I get a bit of a discount as a regular shipping point to get me to that price. |

Tim ,
i'm new to the site. did i miss your sale on the wood knob? wood dash? |
|
|
| frankjv |
| Tim, I am interested in the cargo liner and/or heavy duty floor mats that would be good for the winter season. If that is available I will be watching site and will reply to a poll if you add one. |

Well, the wood shift knob special was a couple of months back, so I'm afraid you did miss out on that one, and we haven't had one yet on the wood dash, which I couldn't do at the present price. However, Acura's come out with a discounted wood package for the TL/CL, meaning if you buy, say, a wood knob and wood panel, you get a reduced price under a special promo number. There are also discounts on wood wheels for TL/CL as well. Maybe they'll do the same for MDX, who knows.
The all-season mats are already about rock-bottom, but I may be able to do a group buy on the cargo liners if there's any interest. Feel free to give that a try!
I was going to do something for October to lead into the winter season, but would you guys rather give it up to a vote like we did last time? |

I don't have any info on ordering these yet....I don't think they've been released.
I really have to put something together today for October. Something good. Business has been so bad here of late (understandably so) that I'm down to answering a half dozen emails a day from 40 or 50. I'll concoct something later today.
Remember, if you want a tailgate deflector or flares, you'd better get your order in before the end of the month.....the sale will not be extended and it'll be a long time before it appears again. |

| I will put a vote in for cargo cover and/or cargo tray. Not sure if those were previously offered. Thanks. |
