I plan on putting some new edgeing around our gardens. I need to move 75 x 10 pound stones, for a total of 750 pounds.
Can my 2003 X carry this load in the back on one trip or should I break it down into 2 or 3 trips? I'll be going 2 miles with the load.

Easily. The max load of your vehicle is 1,158 pounds including passengers. Watch out while loading, or the concentrated weight of the stones may damage the cargo floor, or the hidden cargo compartment. If you have scrap plywood, it may help protect the floor. |

I recently carried 17 boxes of 12x12 tile. Eighteen tile per box. I did not weigh the tile, but each box felt heavier than the 50 lb. bags of thin set. The behicle drove OK, but that was all of the load that I would ever want to put in it.
