Hello All:
We are new to the MDX world. We just got a 01 and it does not have NAV installed. I am pretty good with electronics and such. I was wondering if any of you have installed the factory nav. I am guessing f I pick up a nav from a wrecked MDX or on ebay, if I remove the trip computer and install the nav, is all the wiring there? Or should I just get a TOM-TOM or something. If the wiring is there it should not take long toput it in. That way it looks good and looks liek it was factory install.

If you do a search, you will get plenty of answers, alternatives and all manner of junk. This has been one of the hotly debated topics here, after premium versus regular gas and dino versus synthetic oil.
There was a member who claimed to have installed the OEM NAV unit but didn't take pics. It's probably doable if you know what you're doing but just not cost effective with all the aftermarket units out there now. |
