I'm experiencing wierd vibrations coming from the real axle (not sure which side its coming though) on small accelerations between 35-45mph. I tested it again today and seems like the vibrations come on minor inclination or whenever slipping condition is detected so torgue is supplied to the rear differential. The vibrations come for a sec or two and then disappear as soon as the path is smooth again.
Anyone know whats the issue here? Do I need the VTM-4 fluid replaced? Thanks in advance. |

| Sorry I don't have an answer to that, but if I were you I would jack the rear up and remove the rear wheels and start pulling on all the suspension components. If anything is loose then you got the culprit. |

Did you read the "I Hate My MDX" thread? Maybe's there's a rat stuck in your axle! -)

Hahaha, that's a good one. No rat in this case.
I called a local mechanic and explained him the symptoms. He believes it could either be bearing on rear right wheel or it could be a cross over problem also. I'm taking the car in for further inspection.
Does anyone know how much does bearing or crossover repair costs? Just wanna get a general idea... |
