This is a long shot but I'll try to ask anyways :)
Can the Trip Controller (my 2003), be replaced with an aftermarket
DVD/Navi screen receiver,
and yet still retain the controls from the original Trip controller? |

| I believe it can be done. I remember asking an acura dealer about it and he said it would cost around $4000 (parts + labor). So I started shopping for an MDX with the nav. |

| I really do not see how you could. Trying to integrate the factory wiring and controls in to an aftermarket would be next to impossible. What would be nice is some way to tap the signals and use say the aftermarkets Aux. input to show the trip screen. If you could somehow convert the trip computer connects to just a video output, you would be in business. There may be a way to do what you want but, I would guess it would be very costly as aruca stated. |
