| I bought an Acura hitch last week because I figured it wouldn't rust like the aftermarket ones I have seen and fit better. On installation I noticed that the 8 bolts that hold it to the frame seemed very tight in the nuts mounted to the frame. I used my caliper to measure them compared to the ones that hold the tow hook on. They were a bit thicker with the same thread pitch. Getting them in straight took all afternoon. I only managed to get 4 of the 8 in place, and tore out two of the 8 nuts that were welded to the frame. (Very frustrating) Has anyone else had problems mountimng the Acura hitch? |

| It's the black paint on those brackets that makes the bolts very hard to tighten or even get started. We've learned to run a tap through first to clean up the threads. |
