hi all i've been browsing this site most of today (haven't gotten much work done!)
i'm searching for an 04-06 mdx....
wanted to get an idea of what i should keep an eye out for on these cars???
also if you or anyone u know wants to sell an 04-06 mdx in the 30k mile range with navi/xenons/RES...then please let me know....
also is there anywhere i can go to see the differences in the different model years....
i've searched and haven't found anything....

Here you go with the MY changes and concise guide to the MDX. Wikipedia has one too.
Not many probs with 04-06. They do not come with stock xenons though but many have installed aftermarket ones. Good luck! |

I have both and the cars are almost identical. The 04 has plastic wood accents and the 06 has zebrawood. The 06 has a more advanced navigation system, blue tooth, stereo is different but sounds the same, the stereo has 6 in dash cd, where the 04 has the single in the deck and a 6 changer under the seat. The steering wheel decal in the 04 is a shiny plastic Acura symbol and the 06 has a plastic Acura symbol that looks like it's burnt into the steering wheel pad, but it's not. I think that's it. |

Interesting that Acura changed the in-dash 6-disc changer from 2001-02 to a single-disc with an underseat 6-disc in the 04. The 07 has a DVD-A compatible 6-disc in-dash on the Sport/Tech model. |

For the 2003-2004 models, I believe the CD changer was only under the seat for models with the rear DVD player.
This was changed in 2005. |
