I posted this in accessories but was hoping someone might now here:
I have an 03 MDX and am having an extremely hard time finding hitches that can attach to the MDX with a full size spare...
Has anyone come across one or know where to get one which fits with a full size spare?
Any help is much appreciated! :) |

Thanks andreseng that was a very informative thread an EXACTLY was I was looking for!
The oem hitch is too expensive IMO and if I get the dealership to install it they make you add cooling in the engine and so forth (which will quickly make the hitch a $1000 pursuit...no thanks!)
I think I am going for the draw-tite hitch...thanks again! |

Good thread. I'm looking for a hitch as well just to use with my Yakima bike rack which fits into any hitch.
I used a Reese Tow Power hitch on my Explorer. It looked great, was easy to install, and worked fine. They make a kit for the MDX for about $150; I was thinking about getting it, but I'll have to check about spare tire clearance on my 02. |

You can get the tow hitch package at hondacuraworld for much less ($650) and install it yourself. Still not cheap but at least it's OEM and doable. |

How difficult is it to install the PS and AT coolers?

| This recent thread might help. There's a few others if you search. Instructions are at Tim's website. |
