I have an '06 MDX. It seems that when I turn off the car it is not sensing the key was removed. So, when I walk away and try to lock the doors & arm the alarm the remote doesn't work. To remedy this I have to put the key back in the inginition and remove.
Has anyone else had the same issue?
Also, is it true that the alarm is silent? Only the lights flash? |

This sounds like the reaction to a door being left ajar. If your tailgate and doors are really closed, then it may be that one of the door switches is out of adjustment or broken. Do the interior lights shut off normally?
And no, the horn will blow intermittently for few minutes if the alarm is triggered. |
