| I am having a slight problem with my MDX. When drving about 80MPH and i turn on the air recylcler on with the A/C, i get a whining/hissing noise. But as soon as I turn off the air recycler, it goes away. Also when i drop below 75MPH, it goes away. Any suggestions? |

| I believe I hear the same noise as well. I'll have to try to shut down my AC to verify if this is coming from AC or from Windshield. |

UPDATE:
I got it check at the dealer and they said that its probably a bad actuator or bad seal around the door for the AC. they ordered a bunch of parts for it, so lets hope and wait. |

| got it back today, the hissing noise is still there. They replaced the blower unit and now the tech will call the acura tech line on the 20th as thats when they have the next appt. Though i have noticed that now the noise only occurs at 80 MPH + and only reculate air mode. |

| I hav e been calling up the dealership time to time and they have had this issue on 5 new MDX's and have had 2 other complaints from customers. I think this is a issue that affects all MDX's, but not to many have it as they use the auto mode. the more people complain the more acura will work to fix it. Try putting the air recycler on at 70+ MPH and see if you hear the hiss. |

| My dealer told me when I bought it that this was a common issue, and if I heard it, bring it back and they would have it replaced |

| I have the same friggin problem. As soon as I hit 80MPH with the recycle air on, I get a whistling sound. Sounds like there's a booger stuck in the cars nostrils. It's probably an air filter issue, but who knows. |
