I wonder if any from seattle have intalled for a trailer hitch.
I'm open with with OEM and what not. I've installed roof rack and about to install sport running board myself but wonder should I get OEM trailer hitch?
It's seemed to be hard for DIY from HondaAcuraWord instruction. Since my usage is to cary bikes only, I wonder any brand look better than other and the easy of DIY?

If OEM, any installer beside dealer?

Thanks,

I'm in Bothell and I ordered an OEM hitch to arrive next week. I'll be installing it myself.

The install looks pretty straight forward as were the sport running boards (which I put on myself) if you have a decent set of tools. But it does look like there'll be a fair amount of disassembly.

Lots of folks here got various aftermarket parts. I got the OEM for the cleaner integration into existing wiring. I also like the cutout in the bumper.

I'm from Mercer Island. Do you mind if I come over to look, lending a hand when you do it? Thanks,

Good choice. The OEM hitch tucks up much higher in the bumper, which is why the cutout is needed. You could even do the cutout on your current bumper if you're adventurous and want to save the $100. I kept my old bumper, to use as the inevitable replacement when the cutout bumper gets hit.
It is heavy. You'll need a way to hold it up while bolting it in. Helper and /or tall jackstands are helpful. Clean the frame threads before screwing in the bolts.

Installer recommendation. The OEM trailer hitch ordered from HondaAcuraWorld has arrived, I wonder if any body can recommend an installer in seattle/everett/tacoma area.

Thanks,

I called around Honda Acura repair shop and most will do it for a very reasonable price.
