I was standing outside by my MDX and I noticed the engine is pretty loud. I've been next to some cars where you can barely hear the engine, so I was a little surprised how loud the MDX was.
Anyone else have similar experience? |

| Compared with a lexus yes the MDX is on the louder side. Otherwise it's much quieter than a lot of vehicles, FX35 for example. |

Esp. when you hit 5000 rpms.....Gotta LOVE that VTEC sound ! Who wants a sissy lexux girly motor anyway????????????????????:1: :1: :1:
Acura keep the engine just as it is.......increase the HP if anything and give US a TYPE S DOHC V6 version!!!! :eek: |

"Growwwllll." That's the Honda engine. I guess Honda prefers performance over quiet luxury?
I was assuming that the not unpleasant engine noise was normal for the MDX. Am I correct?
My previous car was completely silent at idle. Of course, at 70mph, the wind noise was a pain, but at idle, I could barely tell that the engine was running. |
