I have a 2002 MDX that I bought about 3 months ago. I did lots of research and didn't find any warnings on it. Now I am reading about all the possible transission problems. The vehicle has 70k miles. I am not hearing any strange noises or anything. However, it does have a very rough shift at times when I am going about 10-15 mph and it needs to downshift. Not sure if it is from 3rd to 2nd, or 2nd to 1st. Anyhow, I plan to tow a boat with the vehicle, and dont want the transmission to go out or have any issues. What do you recommend I do? Should I take it in citing the rough shifting or do I have to wait until something worse happens. Thanks in advance.
