I have a 2002 with NO navi and NO CD changer. Is it safe to assume the stock stereo has the 14-pin connector in the back in which I can plug in one of the iPod adapter kits ie. BlitzSafe HON/M-Link1 DMX V.1?

This thread has the pin outs for both the Bose/Non Bose radios. It looks like you should be OK.
