I'm experiencing a minor problem with the dealer installed day/night mirror (why this great vehicle doesn't come with one is another story).
I've noticed a slight vibration when driving and can actually feel the mirror vibrating. I was wondering if anyone else has been experiencing this or if anyone knows of a fix.

I also have the same problem but I have the regular mirror.
Tonight I will see if the screw holding the mirror is on tight enough. I hope that is the problem, thus an easy fix. |

| There is no screw. It rotates 90 degrees to detach from the window anchor. |

I'm getting the vibrating auto mirror syndrome too. I like to watch the bass line show up in the mirror, but I'd like to be able to see rear view clearly.
A few others have reported this same issue with the auto mirrors. The problem went away with a replacement mirror. It may either be the mirror, the new clip, or the installation itself that was the culprit. |

The clip may not be seated properly on the mount ~ try rotating it off and check the clip and reinstall it! |

I am getting the vibration too from the auto day/night mirror. I will check the clip tonight and reinstall. |

| I'd like to install one, but in reading the instructions, I'm unclear how inserting a cloth covered screwdriver will free the "clips". Do you pry down, back or just push the driver in & does it spring the clips? |

The whole idea about using a shop towel with the screwdriver is that you don't scratch the plastic.
Once you insert the blade, all you have to do is to wiggle it gently and pry the plastic loose. |

| I've checked the clip and took the mirror off and reinstalled. Still have the slight vibration. It's not as bad as it was but it's noticable when you have the radio turned up or bumps in the road. It was annoying at first but I've grown to accept it now.... |

You shouldn't have to live with something like that ~ you should just bring it in to the dealer and have them adjust it! |
