Question for navi software/hardware experts!!
Does anybody know what to do to re-establish (if I may say so) communication between navi unit, PCM and climate control unit.
Would it be a software or hardware issue.
This is an upgrade 2005 touring MDX to navi. Everything went well, but navi unit does not communicate to PCM and climate control. Error active 12C 224.
I did change climate control (navi model)computer but still same problem. BTW, climate control works itself, guided by GPS but I can't get manual controls to work, no outside temperature on the screen.
GPS antenna, radio, HFL and display are "green" on diagnostic screen but F-CAN and A/C still red. Did not work on rear view camera, do not need it but it's easy comparing to rest. Navigation works OK, voice commands OK, radio OK,HFL OK.
This is what's left for full upgrade to navi 2005 MDX model. Once problem solved I will post full detals regarding navi upgrade, hmm, maybe. I hope so!!!
Is there something that need to be reprogrammed on PCM?
Service manual and ETM are useless regarding that.
I can provide more info from diagnostic/developer screen if somebody can help.
Please do not ask me how much money or time I have spent on it.
If you are not electronic expert do not even think about upgrade. |
