I've used several posts in these forums to install a XM/MP3 adapter in my 2004 MDX Touring with Nav, in-dash cd changer and no RES. My problem is that I'm unable to select CD1 mode with my radio using either the steering wheel Mode button or pressing the CD button twice. All posts lead me to believe that this should simply work, but I've had no luck.
I'm using the PIE HON98-AUX from LogJam electronics and everything is connected perfectly. I've verified connectivity (with an ohmmeter) all the way from my XM receiver to audio pin outs on the PIE harness. I've securely connected the PIE harness to the headunit and the radio and nav work perfectly as before. I'm just unable to select CD1 mode and therefore have been unable to utilize the new AUX input as a source for my system.
I've tried disconnecting the car battery, disconnecting the headunit from all sources, reseting the Nav and radio (re-entered their auth codes). Nothing enabled CD1 as an input mode. I'm fresh out of ideas and hoping a MDX guru here can provide a solution or at least a theory. Cheers! |

Did you ever get this to work?
I am having the same problem with a gromaudio.com adapter. as was wondering if I should give up or try a different adapter.
Thanks |

| baltm604, I never got my PIE HON98-AUX to work and I even tried a second unit (Logjam sent me a replacement). If you find a unit that works for you, please post back here. Cheers! |
