I understand that the MDX is supposed to have the iPod AUX input in the car, but I am confused as to where it is. Do I have to use the rear inputs that go with the Entertainment system, or is there just a plug that I can plug my 3.5 to 3.5 into? Please let me know. I am new to the car. Only had it two days. Thanks.

the ENT package only has the RCA inputs for things like an iPod. The 3.5 in the center console only applies to the TECH package. that space is taken up by a utility power supply in your car.

ok so there you go. the RCA inputs probably would sound alot better then the 3.5 input. you can find a 3.5 to RCA cable at radio shack. i have one so i can hook up my iPod to my stero system at home.

Not on the tech & ent package. Why not just burn a data CD or data DVD with all your MP3s on it?

well, when you have 45GB worth of music, it's pretty time consuming to burn those discs. my ipod works perfectly great in the tech package using the 3.5 connection.

Is there any way with the ENT package to use the RCA inputs for a video game displayed on the RES screen with sound going to the wireless headphones, and at the same time hook up an MP3 player to play through the main speakers?
On another site someone claimed that there is another aux input on the back of the stereo. It would be great if that was true, but I'm not sure how that input would be selected.
If it's not possible, going with an aftermarket DVD system may be my only option. However, the RES would be more convenient and I'd really like to have the power tailgate. |

The 3.5 input in the tech package in the center console is very poorly designed. The cover opens up, so you can't see where the jack is. You have to feel around until you find it. If the cover opened down, it would be much better.
