| Has anyone else experienced a rocking motion when coming to a stop? While I expect the car to rock maybe one time, my X sport seems to have a subtle rocking motion 3-4 times or so before settling down. Any ideas? |

Rocking back and forth or side-to-side? Is it in comfort or sport mode, and does it happen consistently?
I haven't noticed that on my 07 Sport when stopping. I do notice the bouncing and side-to-side rocking over bumps when using comfort mode. |

Yes, I have the same rocking motion. Looks like it's a design of dampers/shocks. Very annoying at times. |

I have noticed the rocking motion in sport mode--which is typically the mode I drive it in. That's why I noticed it moreso, because I thought the stiffer suspension would quell any rocking or other movement much quicker. I have not noticed whether it is dependent upon a full tank of gas--even so that would disappoint me as it is still only 18-20 gallons of fuel in a 4500 lb vehicle.
I will address this with the dealer, once I find time to take it in. It's generally minor, but it does bug me. Perhaps it's part of the "wallyboat"experience? :D |
