How wider is the wood grain steering wheel from the regular wheel (in inches of diameter)?
I have decided to get an MDX, it's just a matter of time (I may even hold out until the 2008 comes out and choose between that and the 2007). I currently drive a 1995 Legend GS. One of the things I LOVE about my car that I haven't seen in any other car (including recent Acura models, even the 2007 MDX) is the size of the steering wheel. Compared to the Legend's steering wheel, all others feel like go-kart wheels (small, requiring more force to turn). If the wood grain wheel's size is close to my Legend's steering wheel, it will be a no-brainer to get it.
Thanks in advance. |

| I don't know about bigger but it is definetly better feeling and a small expense IMHO for the years you'll have it and enjoyment it will provide....... |

On modern automobiles the size of the steering wheel has no bearing on the force required to turn. How hard you must turn the wheel is determined by the setup of the power steering.
Personally I do not like an all wood (or all anything for that matter) steering wheel. I like to be able to change between surfaces.
