Hello i am also new here and i spent the past 3 hours reading extensively on ur forums ..i have to say "wow"lol..so i still have a question
now first of all i have an Acura MDX 2002 touring bose system and no navigation..
and i have a video ipod which i realize i can connect and control with the use of blitzsafe unit or the USA- SPEC PA11-HON "i still need some recommendations"
and i also have Garmin nuvi 680 which connects nicely via bluetooth with my cell phone"the nuvi has an audio output"
now what i'd like to do is to find a way to connect"hard wire "my nuvi so i can hear the navigation instructions on my speakers .even if i have the radio on ..or my ipod on?!!!!
is there is a way to integrate my nuvi in a way that will make it behave in a like OEM navi..thank you for ur patience

okay here is what i found ..it is some sort of a voice activated relay http://www.electronickits.com/kit/c...e/elec/k126.htm or http://www.rainbowkits.com/kits/vox-1p.html i am thinking it could be wired in a way that it plays the instruction through my speakers..and i don't know if it will send a mute signal that my radio can recognize or not ...i don't know if it is doable or not ...also here is a thread where he wired it but it is to an after market car stereo http://www.pdastreet.com/forums/showthread.php?t=58997 ...any suggestions?!
