Yesterday when I was getting out on the driver's side, I unlocked the door and pushed the door with my arm and I heard this loud crack.
I thought, "Oh God, what in the world?". Nothing seems to be wrong (yet?) but I'm wondering what in the world could that have been?
I'm taking it in on Monday to have my CD changer fixed (probably replaced)...it's had an ER-E1 since I drove it off the lot and I'll definately mention it. Maybe they can see if something broke.
I thought it may have been the side airbad sensor...I leaned against the door and the light won't come on now....so I don't know. |

| I had the same thing happen to me. I bought the car yesterday (base w/nav) and on the passenger side door, I pushed against it with my elbow and heard a loud sharp crack, but nothing seems to be cracked. |

When I took it in, I told my salesman about the crack. He and I looked at it and at both sides. Nothing seems wrong.
As far as the CD player is concerned, they had to order one. So when it comes in, I'll have the techs look at the door too. I'll keep you folks posted. |
