On the 2007 X...
I'm trying to enter my work voicemail number in the Voice activated Hands Free Phonebook to allow for east entry while driving - can I enter a pause before sending mailbox and password codes?
Example...
Here's how the number looks in my cellphone...
555-555-5555P#1234#123456#
Dial 555-555-5555
Pause - Wait for automated voicemail system to answer
Send # to access mailbox
Send 1245# as mailbox number
Send #123456# as mailbox password

I called the Acura HomeLink (888-528-7876) and they told me to speak the word "pause" when verbally entering phone numbers.
I had to say "pause" seven times to get the correct time delay.
To call my Verizon wireless voicemail, I spoke the following numbers as shown in this example: "800-555-1212 pause pause pause pause pause pause pause 5555#".
It took numerous attempts for the HL system to understand what I was doing but it works like a charm! |
