| My 02 has navi with version 2.05. The dealer's price seems excessive and I am looking for alternatives. I have been searching ebay and other sites for new versions but get confused on all the colors of the DVD's etc. Does anyone have any suggestions on what color disc and versions I should upgrade to? |

| You'll want the black discs for the 01 and 02 MDX. I believe the latest is 2.40 for $185 + shipping. You can pick up older versions on ebay and other members here. I think I have a 2.11 lying around since I've upgraded. Navigate over to the acura nav website |

| Thanks for the info. I still think 185 bucks is excessive, their has to maybe not the latest version but something newer then the 2.05 I have for cheaper then 185 bucks. |

| Get the 2.11 at least -- a huge upgrade over the 2.05 and makes the nav much more useful in most areas. |
