New Aspen Pearl / Parchment X owner here! =) My husband and I drove off the lot with it last night and I'm loving it so far. The only thing is that I already notice black marks / dirt on the leather seats and armrest. For those of you who has used Lexol and Zaino before, which do you think has the best leather cleaner? I want to be able to remove the stains. I've only owned the car for one day so I'm a little bit annoyed with the dirty seats right now! =)

Lexol has been around a lot longer in the leather product business than Zaino. Therefore should have much more experience in leather care and cleaning. The horse tack people like Lexol and that is what I use on my vehicles and furniture.

Do not know anything about Zaino.

Zaino gives better results for my leather seats. I have seen Lexol after a long period of use make the leather "sticky". I am sure if its a new vehicle, that the dealer should be held responsible for this and all other "suprises"you find. Call them and take it back in and have them fix this while you wait.. I had to do the same thing with our '04 MDX, it was dirty carpeting where they got in with dirty shoes and did stuff. Its hard to get good work done anymore.. Good luck with your issue here. DanF

I am a Zaino user... I love it. It leaves the X smelling like new leather, and cleans oh so well. My dad loves Lexol, and after using Zaino he has switched. I am sure you cant go wrong as far as the cleanliness is concerned, but the Zaino leaves a nice smooth feel.

Is it best to order direct from Zaino online? Or are there retail stores that sell this product locally --San Francisco Bay Area, for example?

But think they may have a SoCal Rep. Go to Zainobros.com and see what you can find. If all else fails at their website, you can see all the products and order there. It ships from the MidWest I believe. The Zaino people are located in New Jersey. All of their products I havd used have exceeded my expectations. As Mia's Dad said, they leave your leather soft, and smelling great !! Like leather should smell in nice vehicles ! :) Let us know if you need anymore help.. DanF

Enjoy that new ride ! We are also considering one as our '04 MDX with almost 27k is coming up to its last year of the lease and the dealer is wanting us to turn it in early for a super deal -whatever that is.. We drove the new MDX and compared to the '04 which we love, that is one really nice ride. It appears to be wider than the '04 but that can be a good thing too as my wife's kids keep getting bigger as they close into the teenage years. If you decide to get Zaino products, I dont think you will be disappointed. I tried Lexol on a new '02 BMW 3 series I bought, and it took the awesome leather smell away. :( I changed products right after that.. Zaino will never be found at Retail, he just doesnt do that.. You can call them and ask for Sal Zaino and he will speak to you about his products and how to use them if you have difficulties. His polishing products are legendary and have the longest protection than anything else. DanF

Thanks for all the advice. I ordered the Zaino leather cleaner and leather in a bottle today. I just got an email saying they already shipped it out. Can't wait to try it. I'm going back to the dealership on Monday to have some accessories installed.... I'm hoping I can talk to them in regard to the dirty driver's seat. I doubt I made it dirty as I only owned it for 2 days and I notice the dirt on it on my first day. I didn't think it was a big deal at first but now it really bugs me. I want to be the one to break it in. =)

I'm in NY, what retail store can I find Lexol? I went to R&S and Auto Zone and they didn't have it.

You can meet him to get your stuff same day, or save a day or two on shipping if you have him ship it. Same prices as ordering directly from Zaino.

We have been using Zaino products for 7 years. Great stuff! Plus, if you need help you can call Zaino & talk with Sal.

I just bought a demonstrator X. Got 4K off price. There are ink stains on the center armrest. Will Zaino get the stains out?
