MDX 07 owners, who are you . . . - Click HERE for Original Thread

For now, enough about the physical side of the 2007 MDX itself. Let's shed some light about you, yes you, the owner of the new X. Like some of us here in the forum, I chose the X over a bunch of similar class SUV's is simply technology & clean design which somewhat reflects what I do for a living. One article I read on-line mentioned that Honda/Acura owners are fun, clean/organize people & kinda hi-tech. I hope this is true because it sounds cool . . . which leads to 2 simple questions to satisfy my curiosity:

1. Your age?
2. Your current occupation?

Thanks.

As one Software Engineer to another could you post or PM me pics of the Venturer 9" DVD players in your vehicle? I know I am going to install backseat video but I can't quite find what I want. I am surprised that the nines will fit. Did you add on wireless headphones somehow?

I'm sure Acura Corporation is FLOORED at seeing such young folks buying a vehicle in the upper 40k lower 50K range!

And how much do you pay your Marketing geniuses ACURA ? You ought to have them get to work on doing a better job of forecasting that new RL sales (05 to present) ! Also please FIRE the department and or person responsible for the absolutely lousy commercials !

When I was fresh out of high school I joined Acadiana Ambulance company in Louisiana. Was an EMT/Driver. I did that for a year. Everyone asked why? How? I said someone has to do it......but I knew that was NOT what I wanted to do the rest of my life. I've seen it all from transporting old folks to doctors office to observing an autopsy and everything between....YOU know what I mean....

Yup. EMTs are at the forefront for us. Once you develop a good working relationship with your local EMT guys, you get a good feel for what's coming in the door and what to do next. There are some bad ones out there as in any profession but for the most part, EMTs are great to work with.

That's the spirit! My wife and I are both 62 and we both have begun getting our checks too! I am retired since 51 and had 3 BMW's: two 325i's and currently a 545i. Its lease expires in 2008 and I will be going for the MDX Sport ( buy, not lease).
I need the extra room to hold those two big social security checks!!:2:

My understanding, cops make tons of money averaging 70-125K/yr. That's not including bonuses, etc. Come to think of it, hell yeah, they're making atleast twice as me.

Not here in Arizona... they are starting off in the low 30's, and with tons of overtime they may get to mid 40's
