I don't recall seeing a picture of one here. One problem is that the Manik grill guard is rather aggressive and not everyone likes it. I haven't even seen a picture here yet of someone putting on the taillight guards.
What I'd like to see for the MDX is the partial bull bar/center protector/A-bar that goes just over the front radiator grill and nose, without covering the headlamps. I think it's less aggressive but still looks good. Plus if you parallel park and worry about people playing bumper tag, it sure discourages that!

If you spot anything like this for the MDX, please let us know! |

| That is exactly the type of protection I am looking for also. I like the look of the front end of the MDX and this type of bar does not take away from it. I would be looking for one that I will paint Maroon to match truck, I think stainless is a little too flashy for my color combo. If you find a company that makes them for the MDX please post or PM me. Thanks. |

I'll post if I happen upon one, and hope others will too.
In our case, we have a silver so a brushed stainless steel one would probably look terrific on our vehicle. Chrome or shiny-stainless steel might not work quite as well. For owners of black or even granite green, black (matte or gloss) could work quite well).
These also work well in cities with a lot of parallel parker. That careless clod who's touch-parking against your front bumper will think twice seeing the bar there. Especially since a lot of new vehicles barely have a rear bumper (thinking of the mini-SUV's like the previous RAV4 where a real one was an option!).
Tim, please find one and sell it to us!!!!! |
