I want to buy some rims for my snowtires, which are 245/65 17. Being a bit naive I figued I needed some rims with 5 holes...I know better now!
Can anyone tell me what the correct configuration of those holes are...referred to as 'offset' by the experts, I think.
I'd be grateful for any help you can give; thanks! |

The offset is different than the lug pattern. The lug pattern is 114.3x5. Offset (I think ) is 45. |

| Thanks for that reply. It was the lug pattern that I needed rather than the offset - so I've learned something today! |

Just FYI,
5x114.3 is also known as 5x4.5 |

Anyone know if I change my wheels to a +40 if there'll be any problems?
phins2rt mentions stock is +45 that's only a 5mm difference. But is that 5mm sunken into the wheel well or pushing out of the wheel well? |
