| Last weekend I drove my MDX 03 on the high way at 100 km/h, suddenly I found when I pressed the accelerator pad the tachometer reached 5000 to 6000, but the transmission no response. Then I slid my MDX to the shoulder and got off, and found the transmission fluid leaking terribly splash over the chassis. My MDX had to be towed to Acura dealer. Today the dealer told me that because the plug of radiator (cooler?) for transmission was gone causing the transmission fluid leaking and transmission was finished. The dealer said that they would replace the transmission (under the warranty,67000KM now) and radiator. But the guy doesn’t know if the radiator (intergraded with the cooler of transmission?) is also under the warranty for this reason and has to ask his director tomorrow. My question is if there is anyone had this problem before and if the radiator is under the warranty? Very much appreciate your help! |
