I am looking to purchase a second MDX. I've found a really good offer on an '04 with NAV and RES. Can I replace the head unit of the '04 with an '05 head unit that can operate the RES? The only reason I want to switch them out is because the '05s are XM Ready and the '04's aren't (so I'm sure I'd have to install and antenna). I know there are a lot of aftermarket XM setups that I can add, but I like the intgrated '05 setup.
I think the two probably use the same harnesses etc. I don't care if I lose the bluetooth/HFL capability of the '05 head. |
