Hi, I recently took in my 2002MDX for transmission fluid change & received a call saying the A/T temperature light (dash) is ON. I know there was no light on when i took it in, i am nearly certain that the shop broke the sensor during the fluid servicing.
I told them they broke it & to check the DTC (trouble code) for when it came on.
The first response was that there is no date code, and subsequently the next response was that in the MDX models, this sensor does not give a code when it is malfunctioning; once the A/T temp light is on, the procedure is to diagnose by checking the sensor.
I found posted generic codes in the P0710 range that are supposed to go off. It would make sense for a code to be triggered for such an important component.
Can anybody confirm whether there is a ATF sensor code for 2002MDX? |
