| Whenever a passenger gets out of the rear seat (not 3rd row) of my 2006 MDX Touring, the seatbelts retract in such a manner that they are rotated 90 degrees forward and they vibrate very loudly against the hard plastic side. I mentioned it to my local dealer and called the national service center. While they both acknowledge complaints, they haven't got a cure. Anyone have an idea how to keep this from happening? Besides getting out of the car and correcting it every time, that is! |

Perhaps changing the seat position fowards or backwards or the recline position will allow the belt to sit differently.
OR
As I tell my daughter . . . FIX THE SEATBELT BEFORE YOU GET OUT!! :3:
She now knows that the rattle makes me crazy all the way to work. :bonk:
I tell myself, "I must fix that when I get out" then forget until I pull away again!!
It's disappointing to hear that you have the same problem 3 model years later!! |
