Hello everyone,
I just got my MDX less than 2 weeks ago and have been very happy with it. However, when I fold up the 3rd row seats yesterday, I noticed 4 big indentation marks on the leather surface at the back of the seats because the buckles (4 of them) were sticking out. I tried to press them down, but they came right back up. The seatbelts were retracted back to the roof all the time. The same thing happened to the 3rd row head restraints. When the seats were down, indentation marks were also left on the leather surface, but not as bad as the buckle marks. Is this a design thing, meaning that I have to fold up the 3rd row all the time? Can someone please shed some light on this????
I appreciate your responses.
Thanks,

Pretty sure the 3rd row is pleather and not leather. In any case try placing a towel between the seat and the seat back, and then fold the seats down, this should help with the indentation. |

To answer your question, yes, I have the indentations, too. I don't think I'd worry about it.
