If you want to look older, get GX. For younger look, well ofcourse MDX. I have test drove both GX470 & MDX 07 in same day before... bottom line MDX is more fun & better handling. Beside GX is due for the new design much sooner than the new X. Just my opinion... |

Do anyone know if there is gonna be any changes with the 2008. Also, can the second row seats fold down flat. |

| Lexus GX470 is too tall and skinny, probably does not handle as well as acura and looks to me like it is ready to topple over, Cant beat the MDx in this group, i test drove and considered BMW x5, Range rover sport, Audi Q7, GMC acadia, Mazda cx9, Toyota sienna...was cross shopping classes big time, I did not like the looks of GX470 so didnt drive it but its a lexus so its probably decent however of all the above cars the best is the mdx... the Rang Rover is the best looking but probably the least reliable. Sorry cant tell you too much about GX but I am absolute after driving my MDX for 3weeks now that this is the best car dollar for dollar. handling iis pretty impressive, I think it handled better than the x5... |

IMO you should really go to the dealer look and test drive a car if you want to find out much about it. I mean on paper or what somebody tells you about a car 2nd hand is nothing like looking and feeling and driving the car.
The middle row in the MDX folds 95% flat. I mean the back folds down you don't have to flip the bottom part of the seat like you do in some minivans or SUVs. So the seat is not taking up any room.
