Hi
We just picked up a blue 07 MDX with technology and entertainment package. I wanted to wait for the 08s but we thought we were made a great offer. (not sure) but the price was almost $4K off MSRP (got it for ~ invoice price) 2.9% for 36 months.
We are trying to figure out all the cool featuers, but I have 2 simple questions maybe you guys know.
1) when we lock or un-lock there is not chime sound. If I push the unlock 2 times I get a soft beep, but we are used to one beep with lock and 2 beeps with un-lock (on our other cars). Is there a way to set up so we gat different beeps for lock / unlock?
2) when I start the car we have the elapsed time reset to zero, but the average speed is not, I mean the average speed is cumulative until I push the 'reset' button which also resets the elapsed time. I wanted both the elapsed time and average speed to be reset when I turn on the car.

BTTW this is a great SUV :2:
1) I tried to adjust this through the MID, but this was as good as it gets. I am used to one push beep and lock, but that is not an option.
2) Not sure on this one, check the manual or the MID |

When you unlock the car with the remote you will NOT hear a beep, only when you lock the car. |

yes, I guess I will get used to it. It's just hard sometimes to see the buttons (like at night) if I am locking the car the lights don't go out immediatly. It would be nice for one beep lock, 2 beeps unlock. |

I forgot to mention that in the MID you cannot program the sound confirmation when you unlock. You can only adjust the volume, and turning the sound confirmation on or off (locking the doors only). |
