Hey guys, just leased a 07 X black on burdeaux tech package for the winter... pick it up today actually... i got the sport side rails, wood steering, and shift knob... now just curious if anyone had leased one this month so i can compare it to my deal which i know is hard to analyze as i dont have the paper work on me so i don't know what the residual or money factor is... my lease is 36 month, 10k miles, with 1800 total out of pocket for 665 a month... dealer also basically gave me the sport side rails and wood steering wheel and knob for 1098 installed... think this is a good deal? btw i never considered acura before i looked at the X and let me tell you it blows the x5 3.0si and ml350 out of the water... i was even considering a Range Sport but with my situation I just needed a nice 2nd car for the winters here in jersey and the mdx was by far the best bang for the buck... its fun to drive for a SUV and as much as it hurts to say this but on a luxury standpoint the X has more amenities then my AMV8... all in all i'm glad i got into the mdx

You mean you don't want to drive that around in the snow and ice? :D

I left the tri-state area about 10 years ago, I was sick of buying cars based on what would be drivable from Dec - March... Now that we are in Arizona, the sky is the limit. My wife has a convertable that has the top down 9 months of the year.

Gotta love the desert...

lolz, thats the only reason i got the mdx... i traded in a cls500 for the vantage and that left a huge void on what the hell do i do when it snows out;) so that put me in the market for a suv... i wish i had great weather for 9-10 months out of the year:cool:

It is funny, out here the "bad weather" happens during June, July and August... we did have a nasty dust storm last night, 60 mph winds and something they call rain (you know, when water falls from the sky, we don't get that much here). ;)

I don't miss the snow, but if I did, I could drive two hours to the north and visit it.

I am going to take my X on a road trip at the end of August to visit the big hole they call the Grand Canyon, and four corners. I figured I have lived here 10 years, I should get a better view of the hole, I have only seen it from planes...

Welcome and congrats on the new X.

To answer your question, I don't think you got a bad deal on your lease (unless I did, too ;) ). Mine is for 15,000 miles per year, and it's about $30 a month more than yours (figuring that your $1800 down equates to about $55 a month in "payment reduction").

That works out to about 12 cents a mile for the extra 9,000 miles in my lease, which is probably about right.

Pictures are always appreciated, so haul out the digital and shoot us some.
